Victron MultiPlus-II Inverter Charger

The Victron MultiPlus-II merges the capabilities of MultiPlus and MultiGrid. It inherits the MultiPlus benefits, including optional external current transformer for PowerControl and PowerAssist to enhance self-consumption with external sensing (up to 32A). The device also integrates MultiGrid’s anti-islanding and compliance with multiple country standards. With PowerAssist, the MultiPlus-II smartly avoids overloading limited AC sources like generators by reducing battery charging whenever necessary. It can also augment the generator’s output with the battery’s stored power. As a core component of a Victron ESS, the MultiPlus-II facilitates the integration with MPPT Solar Chargers or PV Inverters to manage energy storage efficiently. The unit offers UPS functionality, automatically switching to inverter mode in under 20 milliseconds during grid failures, ensuring that connected electronics remain operational without interruption. Integrated with a GX device such as Cerbo GX, the MultiPlus-II allows comprehensive monitoring and control both locally and remotely. The free VRM app and portal offer access from any device, enabling detailed management including automatic generator start and system adjustments.
